How many more reasons do we need?

It appears that our government gives me even more justification for my passionate position on homeschooling our children. It also seems the government is on a "power trip" and is trying to force American parents to force their young daughters to receive the HPV vaccination which:

1.) Hasn't been fully researched of long term effects of this vaccine and

2.) To vaccinate against something that can ONLY be transmitted through sexual intercourse.

This frightens me that the government even has the power to make this vaccination "mandatory".

"Texas was the first state to mandate the HPV vaccine for young girls. Some Texas private schools follow the state's mandated vaccine list but don't accept the opt-out provisions, whether the state allows for them or not. Some of these schools have expelled children because they didn't get the mandated vaccines as set out by the state." (Concerned Women for America)

So, as I stated in the beginning of this post, the government is only supporting my position to homeschool. I cannot understand how Christian families could choose the government run public schools as a healthy or reasonable means to educate their children. A sacrifice will be made, either on the part of the parents or of their children.

I am going to continue my research on this particular issue and what progress has been made in an effort to shut this down. How much more power are we going to hand over to the government? I still agree with Dr. Voddie Bauchman and other Evangelicals that there needs to be a
mass exodus of Christian children from the public schools system
. This issue of the HPV vaccine possibly becoming mandatory is just one more reason I can add to "my list" of reasons for not subjecting my children to the government run public schools.

It's very frightening to me that they would require you to inject your child with something that hasn't been fully researched yet, and for something that you can only catch through sexual intercourse. Exactly what will they be teaching those kids?!
