Oh the suffering from the emptiness of a woman’s womb who longs for blessed fruit.

The longing for another sweet blessing is like an unquenchable thirst.

Bitter sweet reminders of loss scar her heart yet illuminate God’s grace.

How often she wonders will the perfect time come.

Understanding does not escape her, yet doubt often plagues her.

Still clinging to hope and praising her Lord for His Sovereignty.

This is what makes the wait more bearable.
