For a precious friend and mother

 

Ten fingers, Ten toes

Sweet face, tiny nose

Sweet baby breath and new baby smell

You are so precious tiny one

You bring new life and brilliant joy

Such a short time to hold you, yet you are loved for eternity

Great and Wonderful is our God for creating you so perfectly

How sweet it must be to rest in His arms

He surely created something infinitely marvelous when He knit you together

A mother's sorrow is turned to joy as she releases you to your Creator

A father's grief is covered with multitudes of comfort from the Lord Who holds you close

Your sweet voice may be silenced to our ears, but never to our souls
