Sewell Family Update

Sewell Family Update

Hello from the Sewell Family,

Our family is about to go from 3 to 4 and we couldn’t be more excited! The Lord has truly blessed us with Sofia and now He has decided to bless us with Charlotte.

Sofia is now 2 years old! We can hardly believe we are the proud parents of a beautiful 2 year old BLUE eyed girl! She has been one of the greatest blessings. Watching her grow and learn new things has given us a great appreciation for parenthood. It hasn’t always been an easy journey the past 2 years. After Sofia turned a year old she had surgery to remove an Angioma on the left side of her nose. Although it wasn’t a “major” surgery, it was still very stressful for us as parents. Having to watch our little sweetheart recover from her minor surgery was heartbreaking. She had a black eye for about a week, but it was the best thing for her vision and breathing. We look at her now and can’t really even remember what she looked like before the surgery. She is such a beautiful child and we are so blessed and undeserving of her sweetness.

Soon there will be another little girl in our lives, Charlotte! The road to becoming pregnant again after Sofia was a long one, filled with much heartache and seeking the Lord. We were unsure that we would have anymore children, but after much time spent seeking the Lord and trusting in Him, we became pregnant. During the first trimester of this pregnancy we had to place our trust in the Lord entirely because of our history of miscarriages. I had to take progesterone until the 13th week which made those first few weeks much rougher for me. Thanks to a wonderful church family who pitched in to make meals and help in any way they could, it made the time fly! We are now towards the end and are so very excited and anxious to meet our little Charlotte. I have really enjoyed this pregnancy and I thank the Lord each day for my two little girls. Having children is such a blessing and Malachi and I never take one moment with our babies for granted. We trust the Lord with our whole lives and we are grateful, honored and humbled that He would see us fit to be the parents of HIS children.

Thank you to all who have prayed for us, cried and laughed with us, and supported us through this journey of growing our family. It is a true blessing to have family and friends who love us the way you do.

We love you!
Love,
Malachi, Crystal, Sofia and Baby Charlotte <><
