Our Reasonable Service

The Lord is ALWAYS good!

We have waited and trusted the Lord to provide the means to have our car fixed and He has answered our prayers! We should be able to have our car fixed soon! For those who don't know, this is a huge deal, as we only have one car. My husband just got a promotion and will no longer be driving the Geek Squad car, so he needs a reliable car to get him to and from work. It seems that the means to pay for the repairs to our car came at the right time!

Isn't it amazing to see God's hand at work in you life? Sometimes we get so busy with the comings and goings of life, we miss the bigger picture. I am guilty of this at times. What is the “bigger picture”? It is God and His Kingdom. The bigger picture consists of what we are really here for. As Christians, our entire lives have been transformed from being about ourselves to being about Christ Jesus. Our number one priority is spreading the Gospel and winning souls for the Lord.

There is a line in the sand ladies, and we need to make it clear to this world and to the enemy who's side we are on. We need to measure our life based on how closely we are living according to God's Word, not inching as close to the edge of sin as we can without technically sinning. Yes we have liberty in Christ, but should we practice or defend our liberties at the expense of others? Should we tempt the Lord?

Matthew 4:7

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.”

Our whole purpose in this life is to declare Jesus Christ above all else. Let us not be deceived by the enemies attempts to make us ineffectual. Let us stand up for Truth and let it be known there are no “grey areas” in with the Word of God. I have yet to see an issue that God is neutral on.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

Yes, I agree, and it has become clearer to me here recently, that the line needs to be drawn not for my sake alone but also for that of my children. Thank you Crystal.

God Bless!
